Sara Bernabe, a 10 year old Club member at the Meadow Hill unit, along with fellow Club members started the "Visiting to Make a Difference" Project to address an issue in their community. "The community issue that I am working on is the issue of caring for the  most vulnerable in our community- the elderly. This issue is important to me because I believe that older people in our community are extremely important. They have to much to share. This project is about putting yourself in someone else's shoes," says Sara. Meadow Hill will receive a $500.00 grant for this project which will be invested in program activities and future projects.
