Triple Play

Triple Play Program

To teach youth how to make healthier choices, Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) has teamed up with The Coca-Cola Company to present Triple Play: A Game Plan for Mind, Body and Soul. This national program takes a holistic approach to educating children about good nutrition, making physical fitness a daily practice, and developing individual strengths and good character.

What to Expect: Through The Afterschool Project (TAP), Club members will be able to participate in each Mind, Body and Soul program component separately, or participate in all three for the ideal benefits.

The Mind program is the nutrition component and covers healthy habits, the power of choice, calories, vitamins and minerals, the food pyramid and appropriate portion size.

The Body provides sports and fitness activities with daily fitness challenges, from jumping rope to home runs and creating games of their own.

The Soul component is a social recreation program focusing on the games room, offering ping pong, pool, video games, chess, and air hockey.
