Creating a "Promise Neighborhood" in Newburgh
Our Promise
We are committed to building a "Promise Neighborhood" to transform and revitalize Newburgh, starting with its youngest residents. A child's support structure begins at home. We will continue to foster the development of our kids' domestic environments, while remaining a critical component in their growth network.
To reach this goal, the Boys & Girls Club of Newburgh is acting as the lead agency for the Newburgh Promise Neighborhoods Partnership (NPNP), a collaboration of seven local entities.
With our partners, we will create a pipeline of services to provide City of Newburgh youth and families access to early childhood development programs, parent education programs, comprehensive health care services, quality education during the school day and after school hours, mentoring, and arts and culture and athletic enrichment programs.

Additionally, our future plans include:
- Building a brand new state of the art facility for the Boys & Girls Club of Newburgh.
- Establishing units of the Boys & Girls Club in other cities and towns throughout the Hudson Valley region.
